PENGARUH MEDIA PEMBELAJARAN WHITEBOARD ANIMATION DAN MOTIVASI TERHADAP KONSENTRASI BELAJAR SISWA
Abstract
Penelitian ini berawal dari banyaknya siswa yang kurang konsentrasi dalam memahami materi pembelajaran yang diajarkan oleh guru, sehingga berkurangnya keinginan siswa untuk menguasai materi yang diajarkan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh media pembelajaran dan motivasi terhadap konsentrasi belajar pada mata pelajaran teknik pemesinan frais siswa kelas XI TPM di SMK Negeri 5 Padang. Jenis penelitian ini adalah eksperimen menggunakan desain factorial 2 x 2 yakni dengan memperhatikan kemungkinan adanya variabel moderator yang mempengaruhi penelitian (variable bebas ) terhadap hasil (variable terikat). Subjek pada penelitian ini adalah dua kelas berdasarkan pertimbangan peneliti dan wawancara bersama guru Teknik Pemesinan Frais. Kedua kelas ini dijadikan sebagai kelas eksperimen (XI TPM 1 sebanyak 15 orang) dan kelas konvensional (XI TPM 2 sebanyak 15 orang). Kelas XI TPM 1 diberikan media pembelajaran whiteboard animation sedangkan kelas XI TPM 2 diberikan pembelajaran konvensional. Teknik yang digunakan untuk menganalisis data hasil penelitian dengan menggunakan uji-t dan teknik anova dua jalur. Hasil penelitian ini membuktikan: Rata-rata skor konsentrasi belajar siswa yang diajar dengan media whiteboard animation yaitu 77,65, lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan rata-rata skor konsentrasi belajar siswa yang diajarkan dengan pembelajaran konvensional yaitu 66,08, dan rata-rata skor konsentrasi belajar teknik pemesinan frais siswa yang memiliki motivasi tinggi lebih tinggi dibandingkan skor rata-rata konsentrasi belajar siswa yang memiliki konsentrasi rendah.
